Over the weekend, the topic on the site was “if you were President of your association, what would you do?” The post ended up receiving a large number of comments. Now we have to take it one step further. Many were very good ideas, now we need to discuss how would you implement your ideas into action. Often, the easy part is to dream up the “pie in the sky” ideas. Normally, it is the execution of an idea that leads to failure. Most of the serious ideas that were left on the blog have merit. How would you implement? How would you have your neighbors support your idea? What outcome do you hope to accomplish? Speak out!

Recently, a neighbor in SESH has begun their own Hooker Patrol/Report. Pretty interesting! I have to say, this weekend, I drove down Nebraska to MLK between 5 and 6 PM on Saturday. I was shocked to see that there were 4 hookers already working in broad daylight. Then Sunday at 2pm there were 3 out. Read the “Hooker Report” below.

Sun, Mon, Tues and Wed nights….no hookers. Most nights I did myb rive closer to 1am so I don’t know if they were out later. On Thu, there was one hooker.

Friday night, I got a late start b/c I was watching the hurricane coverage for Houston. At 4:30 am, there were 9 hookers on Nebraska between MLK and Hillsborough. I made a call and the operator said that
they had cleared them once. About 30 mins later, I saw two separate units conducting field interrogations, one at New Orleans and Neb and  the other at Ida and Neb. They also chased one hooker from the
abandoned building at Ida and Neb.

Saturday night, I saw them all showing up at 2:30ish. This time, a patrol car #698, came through and cleared all of them. Someone at D3 must be reading these reports b/c #698 also made a point of stopping
the males on foot and interrogating them.

As soon as he left, two hookers came across MLK and set up shop at Emma and Nebraska. At the same time, two more, who had been run off earlier, reappeared at Caracas and Nebraska. I called in these 4 and car #698 came back and got rid of the two at Emma. The two at Emma then went and stationed themselves at 12th and Hillsborough.

The two at Caracas stayed for at least a half hour. I flagged down another patrol unit and he got rid of them and then they returned about 15 mins later.

TPD has stepped up the patrols and are clearing out the Ho’s. Most of them leave as soon as they see a police car. A resilient few know that they can return a few mins later.

The good news…none of them made any money last night, at least not on our section of Nebraska. -TC
