First 100 Days…
As many may recall, President Roosevelt’s legendary “First 100 Days” concentrated on the first part of his strategy: immediate relief to the current economic collapse. From March 9 to June 16, 1933, FDR sent Congress a record number of bills, all of which passed easily. These bills helped shaped the future of our country. While many were later declared unconstitutional, the philosophy of the “First 100 Days” would live on for many more inaugurations.
As one of the best neighborhoods in the country, we have recently held the most spirited election in
Seminole Height’s history. As a result, we now have a neighborhood association with new leadership. As the leaders look to improve unity and lead our neighborhood into the New Year, I feel that we as residents can help shape the future of our association, city and neighborhood. As our officers begin their planning meetings and roundtables, what topics should be included on this agenda.
What CONSTRUCTIVE ideas can you offer to our new officers and board members? What should be the immediate and most important focus for this board? How should their first 100 days be defined?
